United Arab Emirates The Al Qassimi Hotel
The legend about The Al Qassimi Palace says: “You don’t seek the way to the palace, it will find you in time”. So it found us recently to become a new grand Damrak project.
The Palace was built in 1985 as the dream house of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Qasimi, a member of the Ras Al Khaimah ruling family. The manor was a testament to Middle Eastern art and took 15 years to complete. At the first sight, it charms with its typical Arabesque settings with lots of Falcon statues, well-designed interiors, large chandeliers, paintings, silver pots, and furniture.
The walls and floors are decorated with ceramic tiles painted by Moroccan artists. After the palace fell into disrepair, rumors spread that the inhabitants left the place because it was “haunted”. Thirty years later, the mystery surrounding the house turned it into a must-visit attraction of the emirate frequented by adventure seekers.
We will give it a new life by constructing a luxurious hotel complex around the Palace, which is also going to be retouched. In the future, we aim to make it one of the most visited places in the UAE.
