WESTGATE City is the largest shopping center in the European Union and in Croatia with more than 226,000 m2 of gross area and 100,000 m2 of sales space. The investment group Focus Invest GmbH invested 270 million euros in this international project, and the Center was built in a record time of only fifteen months. Westgate was officially opened in November 2009, and today it is conceptualized as a family shopping and entertainment center where there are numerous stores of famous brands such as Reserved, Mango, Mohito, H&M, C&A, New Yorker, TEDi, Pepco, dm, Müller, Hervis, Konzum, next and many others.
In addition to the range of fashion brands, Westgate City also has an exceptional range of furniture and home decor stores spanning over 25,000 square meters. Westgate Home, an interior cluster within the center, is unique and offers the largest range of home improvement stores in one place in Zagreb. In addition to the segment for the home, Westgate also has a large range of products for pregnant women, babies, and children.
In addition to a wide range of products, customers can also enjoy bowling at Rock’n’Bowl, the largest bowling alley in Croatia, in numerous restaurants, including Ali Kebaba, Burger Bar, Bake’n’Roll pancake house, and many other restaurants. Westgate can boast of an exceptional offer for the youngest as well, as it is home to the largest children’s play area “Family Park” at 5,000 m².
The center is located next to the A2 highway, which connects Central Europe with Southeastern Europe and the Balkans, and is an exceptionally frequent tourist route; it is 17 kilometers from Zagreb, with which it is connected by the electrified railway line Zabok – Westgate – Zagreb and free bus lines provided by Westgate. Customers have at their disposal a covered garage on five floors with 2,500 parking spaces out of a total of 7,250 arranged parking spaces around the Center, as well as charging stations for electric cars.
